Just picked this up off Ed Abbiati’s Facebook page. The record Ed did last year with Chris Cacavas of Green on Red, “Me and the Devil,” which features yours truly playing harmonica on two tracks, has been released in the USA by Burnside Distribution. Let Ed tell the story…

US FRIENDS: “Me and the Devil” by Chris Cacavas, Winston Watson, Mike Slo-mo Brenner Richard Hunter Andres Villani & myself finally hits the streets in the US of A today thanks to Burnside Distribution & our Italian label Appaloosa Records! One year after it’s release in Europe!
The record is out in the UK with Harbour Song Records, In Italy with IRD International Records Distribution, in Sweden with Rootsy and in the Benelux with Sonic/Sugar&Spice… not too bad for homegrown labour of love with no promo budget!!!
If you like it please get the news out there!

Here’s the video in case you need some moving pictures to get the message…

I recorded my parts for this record in my kitchen in Idaho with a Digitech RP and an Audix Fireball mic, as described in this post. I like this record plenty, and I’m delighted to see it getting wider distribution.

Rock on everybody…
