The Mixes for “Blue Future” (volume 1) are done! On to mastering!

Volume 1 of “Blue Future”, my 21st century blues record, has been mixed. Wah hey! Five songs ready for mastering, which will happen within the next month, while we work on the art for the release. It’s taken a while to get this ready, and the results are worth it. I’m liking this music. And I’m sure that you have never heard a sound like this. 21st century blues for sure…

Contributors to the project via IndieGogo get their copies first, then it goes on sale at CDBaby.com.

I’m writing the next set of songs now, including a very cool number based on something Son House said to the effect that the blues is the Devil’s music, and playing it means you’re going to Hell. This song is appropriately titled “The Thing You Love (Gonna Drag You Down to Hell)”, and I hope it ain’t true.
