Reunion
Last night I performed at my 35th college reunion. I opened the show with “New Country Stomp”, a solo piece that took me three years to write, and has become a fan favorite. You can hear my recording of it at my site at Taxi. The piece went down well–the audience broke into applause in the big chorded section in the middle, always a good sign.
I finished the set with “Comin Home Baby”, played as a duet with the monster west coast drummer (and classmate) Akira Tana. Overall, a short and powerful performance.
The show was professionally recorded to audio and video. I’ll see whether I can get the rights to post it to Youtube.Â
Another big performance today with the Kathy Hassinger Dance Currents group in Cambridge, MA. I’ll write that up later.
