March 13, 2002 Richard Hunter's Performance Schedule
In May 2001, drawing on his twenty years of experience in information technology, Hunter began work on a major non-fiction book, "World Without Secrets: Business, Crime, and Privacy in the Age of Ubiquitous Computing." The project has kept him pretty busy since then, though he's found time to record some heavy new electric harp music. (If you're interested in getting FREE, full-length, high-quality MP3s of Hunter's new music every month through April 2003, click here.)
"World Without Secrets" will be available from Wiley & Sons in May 2002, when Hunter will begin touring in support of the book. In the meantime, you can read all about it at Amazon.com.
Hunter can't wait to get back to performing, but as Mel Brooks said in Blazing Saddles, "Affairs of state must take precedence over affairs of state. " We thank our fans for their patience, and assure them that the wait will be worth it.
August 2001
Hunter made a surprise appearence with the Tony Furtado Band at the Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival in Alta, Wyoming on August 15. Hunter and harmonica player Jeff Newsom joined Furtado on stage for the last set. Good clean fun, and plenty of two-harp rockin'!
